2022 vivid blue-purple color that shines particularly in fresh green

In Hamarikyu Onshi Garden, which was blessed with fine weather in May, the iris sanguinea planted near the entrance of Ote-mon gate and at the back of the button garden shines in fresh greenery and blooms. iris sanguinea is a perennial plant belonging to the family iris sanguinea. In Japan, in addition to the authentic iris sanguinea, seven species of irises, ehimeshaga, fringed iris, Hiogi iris sanguinea, rabbit ear iris and Nohanashobu grow naturally, and there are many horticultural species such as Ichihatsu, Japanese iris, German iris and Dutch iris. Iris is a general term for the genus iris sanguinea. Nohana Shobu is horticulturalized in Japanese iris, and Japanese iris and Shobu are often confused, but the former is a completely different species belonging to the iris family and the latter belongs to the taro family. Japanese iris is often referred to as a shobu by simplifying it, and having the ancient irises read as iris sanguinea also causes confusion. Shobu is also called iris grass and Japanese iris is also called Hana iris sanguinea. It is difficult to distinguish between Japanese iris, iris sanguinea and rabbit ear iris, iris sanguinea or rabbit ear irisiris sanguinea. By the way, in the wild, iris sanguinea can be identified by a dry, sunny grassland, Nohanashobu on the waterfront, rabbit ear iris on the wetlands, in the center of the petals, iris sanguinea on the net pattern, Japanese iris on the yellow V-shaped spots, and rabbit ear iris on the white V-shaped spots.
