Pine in Kakigara-cho

Walk around Ina's base, who worked hard to develop infrastructure in the Kanto region.

In Chuo-ku, there is a sightseeing point called "Gundai Yashiki Ruins". Including Tadatsugu Ina, who was appointed as the deputy head by Ieyasu Tokugawa, the Ina clan was later called Kanto-gundai and inherited for twelve generations. On January 17, 2022, I wrote about Genchoji Temple, the Ina family's Bodaiji Temple.
This time, we visited "Ina-san Yashiki Ruins" (prefecture-designated monument (historic site)) in Ina-cho, Saitama Prefecture. Based on this, infrastructure development such as flood control and water use work in the Tone River basin, Nitta development, exploration, and highway development will be promoted one after another. Located in a peaceful environment with lots of greenery, it was a great place to take a leisurely walk while feeling the flow of history. There is also a paper leaflet on the site, so it's better to go around while looking at the map.
Access is a short walk after getting off at Maruyama Station, Saitama New Urban Transportation New Shuttle. Please note that there is no parking lot in the neighborhood.
