In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the plague eradication gods festival

During the COVID-19 pandemic, 4 days at Tepposhu Inari Shrine Reitaisai festival, the eradication of the plague Shinko Festival

The Ujiko of Tepposu Inari Shrine is Minato, Irifune, Shintomicho, Ginza, Akashicho, a part of Shinkawa and a local guardian of Chuo-ku. In the Edo period, it can be seen from the Sengoku ship entering Edo Minato at the mouth of the Sumida River, and it attracted the reverence of sailors. That Reitaisai festival was in GW. It is the earliest festival in the year in Chuo-ku.

Although there were no cruising portable shrine in fair or other town councils due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the plague eradication festival was held on March 3, and Horai and Miya portable shrine traveled around shrine parishioner. I thought it was the first time to pull Miya portable shrine with a trolley. I hope portable shrine will be able to carry it soon. In the photo, there is a monument of Edo Minato just on the Shinkawa side of the bridge, crossing Minami Takahashi. It seems that there was a shrine hall near the river in the Edo period.

Four days at Tepposu Inari Shrine Reitaisai festival

This is the place of Shiranami five sons Inasegawa. In Chuo-ku, the birthplace of Edo Kabuki, and the number of children has increased in recent years, it is a pleasure that children will have more opportunities to come into contact with such local traditional performing arts. However, I haven't seen Kabuki at the Kabuki Theater yet, so I'd like to see it once.
