"Tokyo Nagahama Kannon-do", which closed in February this year, will be opened again this year.

Since 2021, Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, known as the Kannon Village, has been conducting a “Dekai Book” in Nihonbashi so that you can see Kohoku's proud Kannon statue even in the Tokyo metropolitan area. (Ueno from 2016 to 20 years) While it was difficult to reach Nagahama due to the COVID-19 pandemic, "Kannon goes on a business trip" was popular. I was worried about what would happen this year, but with the enthusiasm of the local people and the cooperation of supporters, I was able to meet Kannon again. .

This year, it was held four times, with one exhibition each time. The first one is the month from May 12 to June 12 today. This time, the appearance is from the late Heian period of Jorakuji Temple's "Sei Kannon Statue". The calm face of the Holy Kannon makes you forget about the corona and the restless world situation for a while. There are more than 100 Kannon statues in the Kohoku region, and it has a history of being protected by local people from natural disasters.
