Previously, near the Oshimakawa sluice gate where the Sumida River and tributaries intersect, the walking path along the Sumida River "Sumida River Terrace" was interrupted.
Therefore, when traveling back and forth on the Sumida River Terrace, I bypassed the city of Eidai, Koto-ku.

With the new bridge being built, the Sumida River Terrace is connected, making it possible to pass through the walking path along the river as it is.

Ships come and go under the connecting bridge and under the Oshimakawa sluice gate, so the middle of the bridge is high. Go up the uphill as shown in the picture.

You can see the upper part of the sluice gate on the right side.

You can see the Oshimakawa sluice gate in the foreground, and you can see a light blue bridge (Ecchujima connecting bridge) behind it.
Before the completion of the Sumida River Terrace connecting bridge, I thought that I was detouring across the light blue bridge (Ecchujima connecting bridge) in the back.
