Eitaro's Kintsuba has a delicious bean paste!
A souvenir of our town. Here's one. The recommendation is "name tsuba"
Eitaro's round Kintsuba can taste "Edo bean paste".
If you are not good at bean paste, isn't it good at "sweetness of anko"?
Isn't it because of the sweetness of yokan even if you don't like kintsuba?
Eitaro's Kintsuba is characterized by the taste of red beans, which are baked with sesame oil, wrapped in thin dough.
If you are not good at sweet Anko or Kintsuba, try a delicious bean paste (taste of red beans) that you laid overnight at "Namekutsuba". It has a taste of bean paste that is different from sea bream and Imagawa ware.
At Tokyo Mannaka ippindo, I would like to introduce 6 pieces of tsuba.
At the cafe Nihonbashi E-Chaya at the Nihonbashi Main Store, you can order the freshly baked name Tsuba and Coffee, which is also recommended by Mr. Aoki of the "Selected Japanese Confectionery". I learned that freshly baked Kintsuba is delicious when eaten after the coarse heat is removed.
We asked Eitaro employees how to reproduce the freshly baked shop.
Recommended way to eat is to warm on a hot plate. I think there's no doubt!
When I eat at home, I warm the gold brim in a microwave oven for 13 seconds at 600W and eat it. When I ate it in the refrigerator without warming, I could enjoy the darker taste of the bean paste.
Both first-timers and repeaters should try to find their favorite way of eating at Eitaro's "Namekutsuba".
Eitaro's round gold brim
The confectionery baked with bean paste wrapped in thin dough resembled a sword tsuba, and was called "Gintsuba" or "Kintsuba". Silver brim is a rice flour dough, and gold brim is a flour dough.
Eitaro's Kintsuba has been keeping the way of wrapping the bean paste by hand. The bean paste used for Kintsuba seems to have decided the taste of the current bean paste about 40 years ago.
Mr. Aoki of "Senwa Confectionery" is a craftsman who is involved in both Eitaro's current bean paste and the previous bean paste, and has decided to burn black sesame on the dough of Kintsuba that wraps the current bean paste. I told you.
Eitaro's Kintsuba, who has been pursuing what he can do to make more customers happy, is a masterpiece of Eitaro's Japanese sweets that will continue to be loved by customers.
Speaking of Eitaro, Kintsuba.
Depending on the season, there is also a Kintsuba of the seasonal sweet bean paste "Sakura, sweet summer, zuda, chestnut, sesame, potato".
Eitaro heading for the next 200 years
Have you seen the special site for the 200th anniversary of Eitaro Sohonpo and the official YouTube channel of Eitaro Sohonpo?
You can also see "Eitaro's Kintsuba", which works hard on the taste of the bean paste, in the video. 「Until Eitaro's gold brim is formed」
I felt the strength of a company loved in Nihonbashi, "Kintsuba", which cannot be easily imitated in the past and in the future.
"Eitarou Sohonbu" is the official name, but with familiarity, I wrote it Eitaro.
Mr. Aoki, who also appears in the video, demonstrated the process of baking the name tsuba.
You can order freshly baked name tsuba at Nihonbashi E-Chaya until 16:00 on the cafe business day.
I would like to thank everyone who taught me the charm of the famous tsuba that has continued since the Edo period.
