Ninomiya Fukagawa carrying of miniature shrines

The festival of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine is also known as the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival, and is famous for its first time in portable shrine, which is said to be “portable shrine Fukagawa, floats Kanda, Dadahiroiga Sanno”.

The three Miya portable shrine was unfortunately burned down in the Great Kanto Earthquake. In 1930, Ichinomiya portable shrine was revived in 1991, and Ninomiya portable shrine was produced in 1997.

This year, the imperial procession was canceled by the bearer, and the whole car made Ninomiya portable shrine imperial procession bravely.

It looks like imperial procession in front of Hachimangu Shrine from Eitai Bridge.

The main festival is scheduled for 2023.
The charm of the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival is, of course, a sense of unity. The traditional shout of "Wasshoi, Wasshoi" echoes, and it is also popular as the "Wasshoi Festival" where the purified water is poured on the bearer from the crowd along the road.
