Exhibits at this pottery market are potters and writers, including wholesale trading companies with shops in Nihonbashikakigaracho, Hamacho and Ningyocho.
It is popular with many people as a feature of downtown, which is held for the first three days of August.

The Reisai Festival of Suehiko Ogami, a deity from Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, will also be held on the same day as Seto City.
In front of this household miniature shrine, on the first and last days, the head priest of Minobubetsuin Myojo-ji Temple holds a "Kakera memorial service" once a year, thanks to the broken vessel Kakera.

Some of them need to be handled especially carefully, so if you are worried, check with the store before purchasing.

■How do you recommend shopping?
There are many shops lined up on the sidewalk, but "Setonoichi" is a scale that allows you to walk around without difficulty.
I think everyone has their own way of shopping, but personally, I did shopping in the following way.

2nd lap: Check if there are other stores with eye-catching products, or if there is a difference in prices.

As mentioned above, it was the first time for me to be called "Setonoichi", so I decided to purchase pottery in commemoration.
Since 9.5% of the tableware I have now is Western tableware, I searched for domestic pottery that would look good even if Western food was served.
Among the many pottery, I chose a navy small plate from the popular series Albee (Albee) manufactured by Mino Ware Trading Company's only pottery.

This product, which is also a return item for hometown tax payment, is usually sold online from a set of 660 yen, but at Setonoichi, it was sold for 440 yen per sheet.
