Osamu Tezuka's "Shinsengumi" Kabuki-za Theater Appears - August Noryo Kabuki

The 7th was fall, but it is forecast that midsummer day will continue this fall. The Kabuki-za Theater in August, where the number of people is no longer limited, is full of seats. It's as hot as Koshien, which started in summer.

Part of it is the first Kabuki adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's "Shinsengumi". Quoting the flyer of Kabukiza, "The friendship between Juro Fukakusaoka and Daisaku Kamagiri, a mysterious boy swordsman set in Kyoto in late Tokugawa shogunate, and Juro Oka, who grows through encounters with familiar Shinsengumi members such as Isami Kondo and Hijikata Toshizo, and Sakamoto Ryoma, are vividly depicted." It is the brothers of Utanosuke and Fukunosuke who play the masterpiece with Juro Oka. Isami Kondo is the perfect cast for Kankuro and Hijikata Toshizo is Nananosuke. And fans of Tezuka manga will be happy Blackjack Modoki and other characters will also appear and make it a kusri.

The second act is a dance drama featuring yokai who are perfect for Noryo kabuki in "Dark Ume Hyaku Monogatari". The skeletons were Kankuro parents and children, and the small skeletons were cute, and applause was great from the audience. Parents and children will also appear in the tiled version of the curtain. Chosaburo is also growing up and enjoying the stage with the feeling of becoming a relative's uncle or aunt.

The third part is "Yajikita", which has become a summer feature of Kabukiza Theater. 5th time this year. I'm looking forward to seeing what stage I'm looking forward to this weekend. In the second part, the rare "Ansei Kimon Tsukuda Night Arashi" is the first performance in 35 years.
