The ultimate sweets you have in a hideout house
"Pâtisserie 85 (Patisserie Hako)"

Hello. It's Hanes.
About two and a half years have passed since the start of working from home, and there are more opportunities to stroll around Chuo-ku during lunch breaks on weekdays.
The other day, I was finally able to visit "Pâtisserie 85", which I was worried about for a few years!

This is a patisserie that opened in Shintomi in 2019.
I've been passing in front of the shop many times so far, but because of its cuteness, it's hard to pioneer it immediately, and I always looked at it from the outside.
I think that the cuteness is obvious at a glance when you look at the exterior photos.♪

They sell sweets such as cream puffs, cakes, scones, and cookies on the signboard menu, as well as drinks such as coffee, tea, and ginger ale.
The menu that fills your heart with tea time with friends during work breaks and between town walks is attractive.

This time I knew for the first time when I visited the store, but in fact, in addition to sweets and drinks, accessories that tickle girls' hearts are also exhibited and sold.
This is a pop-up by ARG (Arg), who works on original accessories around Silver 925.
If you are looking for one-of-a-kind accessories, please take a closer look at the selection of products.

Eat-in is also possible in a cozy store with a sense of size that matches the word "hideaway".
Relax slowly at the window seat or counter seat.
The natural decoration on the store is to add even more peace to such a relaxing space.
You may feel like you have come to the forest, such as owls, rips, and rabbits.

Well, let's take a look at the showcases lined with sweets, although the preface has become longer.
Thiramisu, which seems to be responsive, is lined with cute hako-shaped carrot cake, orange caramel cake, and summer orange cake next to it.
Allergy information is clearly written on the menu card, so you can feel safe when purchasing.

In addition, scones using thick-white sesame oil (taihaku sesame oil) that contains ingredients that do not use butter and have antioxidant effects are not overlooked!
I'm worried about lemon ginger, coffee, jasmine tea and other flavors that are rarely seen elsewhere.
It is a rare hako type for scones, and its thick cross section stimulates appetite.

And also pay attention to the whimsical menu. It was tart and quiche on this day!
Each day's whimsical menu is featured on the official Instagram and Facebook, and just checking what kind of menu you have, you can look forward to the tea term!♪

At the right end of the photo is the cream puff, which can be said to be a signboard menu.
It is characterized by the fact that the dough contains thick and white sesame oil, so please fill it with cream after ordering.

I was attracted to the nice eat-in in the store, but this time I took out cream puff and "85 Special Blend Coffee" (drip).
Coffee is a collaboration product between Pâtisserie 85 and the magome coffee project (Magome Coffee Project), which has a store in Magome Nishi, Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture.
Under the motto "Coffee that anyone can brewed deliciously," the latter offers coffee that has a rich and mellow finish without having to make a difficult brewing method.
It's perfect when you want to drink delicious coffee in a limited time during lunch break!

When it comes to the essential cream puff, there were three things that left a particularly impression.
・Even though the sesame oil is used, the presence of sesame is very modest.
・After ordering, I fill the cream so the dough is crispy like a pie.
The quality of each material is condensed, and the satisfaction is high.

In particular, when examining the first point unexpectedly in detail, general sesame oil is savory and rich by roasting sesame with fire, while thick and white sesame oil is made by squeezing raw sesame, so the unique sesame flavor is suppressed. It seems to be smooth.
It is often used as a substitute for butter in making sweets because the taste and aroma of other ingredients is less affected.

Many of the delicious baked goods, including shortbreds, use plenty of butter.
I'm attracted to the rich aroma of butter, but now that I'm working from home has reduced my exercise time, I'm still worried about my health.
So far, I've eaten Ichioshi cream at various shops in Chuo-ku, but this is the first time I have encountered a cream puff that I would like to recommend for those who are careful about their health.

The dough is fluffy and soft, not crunchy like cookie dough, and has a slightly chewy pie-like crisp texture.
Shoo dough has a new texture, so if you like cream puff, please try it.
In addition, thick and white sesame oil is also used for cookies, so I thought it would be good for souvenirs and gifts for those who are particular about food.

When you visit the area around Shintomi, Chuo-ku, why not take a break with a wonderful patisserie?

The person in charge of Pâtisserie 85 cooperated in the interview and writing of this article.
Thank you very much for accepting me during your busy schedule.
(Next time I will have jasmine tea scones ♪)
