I climbed the bridge and walked a little bit. As a pedestrian, you can only walk downstream (seaside) sidewalks, but when you actually cross the bridge, you will be surprised at the sense of freedom. The reason seems to be that the arch is open like a butterfly's wings, but since the bridge is around Hamarikyu and Tsukiji Market, I think one of the reasons is that there are few tall buildings.

If you look at the wide sea side, you can see the blue sea, green Hamarikyu, and Tokyo Tower in the distance, making it a very pleasant view. I was waiting for the ship to come, and I took a picture because a cool guy came.

On the other hand, if you look at the upstream side of the Sumida River, you can see Kachidokibashi. Behind it is a number of skyscrapers, and Kachidokibashi with the background looks very cool. If the sidewalk on the upstream side of Tsukiji Ohashi is opened, you can see it up close, so there is no doubt that it will be a wonderful photography spot.

And the sidewalk leads to a temporary road along the Tsukiji River, which flows beside Hamarikyu. There is a waterside covered with lush greenery. There is a certain waterside in Chuo Ward, but there is no other place with such greenery. When you want to walk comfortably, I think it is a very recommended spot.

When you come to Hamarikyu, it may be nice to walk along the Tsukiji River and cross the Tsukiji Ohashi.

This is Tsukiji Ohashi, but I wrote several articles in the past on this blog. Especially when I became a correspondent, it was just around the time this Tsukiji Ohashi Bridge was built, and the first three articles of my blog debut were written as trilogy before, during and after the bridge.

This photo was taken on April 8, five years ago, after registering as a correspondent at a tourist association in Ginza 1-chome, traveling around Chuo-ku, and for some reason I arrived here. It was only the foundation of the pier, and over the next month, the bridge girder was installed. Of course, the name of the bridge was not yet.

For this reason, when I come to Tsukiji Ohashi, I remember the spring five years ago when I became a correspondent. At this time, the excitement of starting a new era with a bridge, and the excitement of starting a new era as a correspondent were superimposed with nature.

Five years have passed since the bridge was built, and next year is finally the year when the Olympics will be held. At the end of this bridge, we are in the middle of the construction of an athlete village. Yes, this road is connected in Chuo-ku, a new era in the future.

This correspondent blog started on May 1, 2009 with the refreshing first voice of the staff of the Tourism Association Secretariat. Yes, it's been 10 years since this blog started.

And the first day of the next 10 years coincided with the beginning of the era of Reiwa.

The other day, as if to match this timing, this blog was renewed to a new version, but the articles that have been spelled out in the last 10 years of Heisei have been described as an old version of the blog, "Archiving" on this screen. It can be seen from

If you leave it as an archive, these articles may someday become a wonderful historical historical material of Chuo-ku in the Heisei era. If you actually read past articles, you can see that Chuo-ku has been changing little by little.

And in the next new 10 years, as a new version of blog, articles from Chuo-ku in the age of Reiwa will accumulate.

This year, I was able to register as a correspondent because I was able to help the tourist association. I can do my best to write an article once a month, but I hope I can manage to write and help.
