A feature of Kanro Edo

In the pleasant autumn weather, I went to Nihonbashi Ebisu Kobetara City for the first time in three years.

It is said that in Kannazuki, gods all over Japan gather at Izumo Taisha Shrine to discuss marriage. In Shimane Prefecture, it is called "Kamizuki / Kamizuki". During this time, "Ebisu-ko" thanks Ebisu, who keeps away from home in other areas, and prays for rich harvest and thriving business.

There was a "city" where vegetables and sea bream used for this shrimp course were sold. In the Edo period, the pickled radish with koji, so-called betta pickles, became popular and became the name of Bettara City.

It is said to be a pickle that was favored by Yoshinobu Tokugawa, the last general of the Edo period, the 15th generation of Yoshinobu Tokugawa.

When the dedication lanterns are decorated lively, there is a unique atmosphere. I enjoyed the traditional culture.
