"The 100th Anniversary of the Great Kanto Earthquake Buddhist memorial service Memorial Panel Exhibition" at Tsukiji Honganji September worship card
When I went to visit on September 1, a valuable photo was posted on that day at the 100th Anniversary of the Great Kanto Earthquake Buddhist memorial service Memorial Panel Exhibition. I'm wondering if I can publish it here, so I'll only post this photo.
Photographs of buildings before and after the Great Kanto Earthquake were on display. The main hall designed by Dr. Chuta Ito was red-copper when it was completed.
A photo of the Tsukiji Honganji Clinic, which was opened in the Tokyo headquarters area, was also released. The explanation is
"Takeko Kujo, who was keen on social projects, focused on the relief of children affected by the earthquake. Also, in 1925 (1925), Takeko Kujo himself invested his private property and established a clinic where people who could not afford it could be consulted. The photo is thought to have been taken when it was renamed "Tsukiji Honganji Clinic" in 1926. ] Yes, it is.
I'm wondering if the hard work at this time was described as "I'm going to be drawn from the bad things."
September 2022 Visit Card
This month's worship card will be used.
It is written, "The teachings of Buddha are not preparation for death, but a source of living."
The teachings on the back are written as follows.
Speaking of Buddhism, I guess you imagine "death" somehow, such as funerals and memorials. However, Buddhism is originally a teaching for us who live. In fact, the teachings taught by the Buddha are full of essences that shine our lives. Why don't you touch Buddhism as a "food to live" with this worship commemorative card?
