 September 9th is one of the five festivals, Shigeyo's festival.           The festival is a seasonal milestone day / event derived from the Chinese Yin Yang five-line theory. It is said that the custom of paying evil has begun as a day turning from yin to yin.                 According to the legend of "Kiku Jido", which is said to have lived for 700 years with the power of chrysanthemum, chrysanthemums have been said to have the power of longevity since ancient times, and since they pray for longevity and exorcism with their medicinal effect, it is also called "Chrysanthemum Festival".            Of the five verses, the "Shiyo no Setsuku", where the largest number of yos (9) overlaps, is said to have been the most popular event in the past as a closing event.           Chrysanthemum is one of Japan's leading flowers, has more than 1,500 registered varieties, has the highest production volume of cut flowers, has become a crest of the Imperial Family, and is popular with Japanese people.                           At the Tsukiji Namishi Shrine, a festival is held, and the ancient times of the Heian period, the custom of the Imperial Palace, "Shiyo-no-event," is recreated, and the amulet, which is used to replace sound health with Hina doll's squirrels, and a protection against misfortune's squirrels, which is made in a scarlet bag.                          Chrysanthemum liquor that is drunk on this day is a liquor immersed in chrysanthemum petals, and its aroma and the noble elegance of chrysanthemum flowers are thought to exterminate evil and extend its life, and you can enjoy a breeze.
