[Night activity in Yaesu] A correspondent! Starry sky observation in the city center
Hello. I'm Hanes, an active correspondent.
For a long time, the morning and night activities series have been around, but recently the sunshine hours have been extended, and the morning activities have become more focused.
Meanwhile, I got a worrisome night activity information that it will be held in Yaesu for only 15 people, and I immediately participated!
That is an hourly event (free) consisting of a seminar called "Star Night in Yaesu" and a starry sky observation party.
This event was started in March this year with the cooperation of Nippon Travel Co., Ltd. and Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd., with the aim of having people working in nearby areas enjoy even after leaving work.
This time, I would like to briefly introduce the appeal of the event.♪
Stars are interesting! Recommended seminars that are easy for beginners to understand
First of all, what you may feel uneasy before participating in the event…It is knowledge about stars.
If you like constellation fortune-telling but don't have confidence to find constellations in the night sky, please be assured!
Before actually observing the starry sky, a starry sky guide (star sommelier) will give a detailed explanation even for beginners in an easy-to-understand manner.
If all the electricity in the Yaesu area is gone…
Under such assumptions, the seminar started with sharing the image of the visible starry sky.
In addition to the constellations that can be seen on the day of the event, the origins and mechanisms of horoscopes will be discussed at the seminar, so I will be drawn into the story.♪
This day was only two weeks after the renovation, and one of the most impressive things was the story about astronomy.
In the past, it used to be interpreted as "the heavenly change is advice from God", and political decisions were made based on the heavenly change.
As a result, it seems that the era has changed seven times in Japan due to a natural incident (* There are various theories for the reasons for the change).
In this way, after gaining knowledge about stars in about 30 minutes, we will move to the rooftop of the Tokyo Tatemono Yaesu Building to observe the starry sky.
It's a very valuable opportunity because it's not easy to go to the roof of a building in Yaesu.
Develop a new way of enjoying! Starry sky observation party in the city
When you go to the rooftop, "Wish for the Stars" flows as BGM, and a very romantic atmosphere.♪
On the day of the event, we were worried about the weather, but it will be fine safely and expectations for starry sky observation will increase.
This time, you can see Leo (the brightest star: Denebola) directly above the moon and Virgo (the brightest star: Spica) below, and observe with an astronomical telescope and high-performance binoculars.
According to the star sommelier, in a city where it is not easy to observe the starry sky, the trick is to look for constellations using bright stars as a landmark!
And the distance from Spica to the earth mentioned above is 260.9 light years!
In other words, at the time of the 10th generation of Tokugawa shogunate Ieji, I am now seeing the light emitted far away.
It's hard to believe immediately, but it was a time when I could immerse myself in a mysterious mood as if I had slipped back in time.
(With the star sommeliers, observe the moon and stars using an astronomical telescope.)
In addition, the moon, Arcturus of the constellation Leica, and the Omitsu square in spring were also seen.
Arcturus is 36 light years, so if a 36-year-old comes, the light of Arcturus seen from the earth will be "the same age."
There was also an introduction of interesting episodes related to the new era "Reiwa".
In the beginning of the song "Umehana no Uta", which was recorded in Manyoshu, the origin of the new era, "In the early spring of the month, the breeze, the plums show the powder in front of the mirror, and the orchids smell the incense after Pei."
(You can borrow high-performance binoculars.)
However, the appeal of this event is that you can take a step further and teach them.♪
Looking at the age of "730 New Year's Day 13", which is said to have actually been sung, it is equivalent to 12 months old, and the 17th, two days after the event, is just the day of the month!
Although the age of life is different, it is somewhat emotional to think that the same month as the moon seen by the Oban travelers at the feast can be seen.
Yeah
In the starry sky, "seeing / not seeing" does not determine "enjoyable / unenjoyable".
By participating in this event, I learned that the stars can be associated with history, age, and timely topics.
And above all, I was surprised that there is a place where you can observe the starry sky in the city center of Tokyo, where it is not uncommon to be bright all day!
The next event is scheduled to be held on June 12 (Wednesday).
This time, I reported my experience report, but I still see it at first glance!
There is also a nice coffee service during the starry sky observation party, so if you work in a nearby area, it is a recommended night activity that you should definitely experience.
The number of people is limited, so if you are interested, please apply as soon as possible from one of the following.♪
