From Tsukiji to NY

I'm glad that the border measures have been relaxed and foreign tourists have come to see them.

In September, Oume Shoten in Tsukiji opened "DASHI OKUME Brooklyn" in New York as the first stock specialty store in the United States. At DASHI OKUME Brooklyn, a wholesaler with a history of more than 150 years, is the first overseas expansion, selling Japanese natural additive-free raw materials and dashi packs made from them.

In addition, custom-made dashi packs patented in Japan will be sold in the United States. (We have also applied for U.S. patents.) Just like in Japan, you can consult with the staff of the dashi sommelier, choose what you like, and make only one dashi pack in the world while looking at the ingredients lined up in the showcase.

There is a processing plant in the store, and after the selection of raw materials, "mixing → crushing → filling → packaging" is performed in front of you, and you can see all the manufacturing processes until the product is completed.

In addition, there is also an eat-in booth that offers dishes using additive-free foods, and you can taste miso soup made with Oume's strings, Saikyo pickles, Oume dashi, set meals, and small bowl dishes. At night, Chito Tsunouchi offers sake and shochu selected from all over the country.

If you go to NY, please drop in.
