 On October 22nd and 23rd, "Tokyo Daichakai 2022" is being held at Hamarikyu Onshi Garden.                        The Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony was launched in 2008 by Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Arts Council Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, to disseminate Japanese traditional culture both domestically and internationally, and to pass on the underlying "heart of Japanese" to the next generation.               This year, the event will be held for the first time in three years, taking measures against COVID-19 infection, including reducing the number of participants.              A variety of tea ceremony schools meet together, full-fledged tea ceremonies (Nakajima's Ochiya / Houmetei), 4 Nodots (Uchibori Square), high school students Nodots (next to Hanakien), Nodots enjoyed in English (Hanagien) It is an event where even those who are not familiar with the tea ceremony can easily enjoy and enjoy the deep world of tea ceremony. Near the gate of the middle, there is also a “Flower Experience” as a traditional culture experience program. On the special stage, performances of Gagaku, Nihon Buyo, Tamasudare, Dai-Kagura and Japanese musical instruments are performed.
