Tsukiji Honganji Temple Visit Card for October 2022

We have received a worship card in October and a booklet entitled "On the edge of Hoonko".

The word on the worship card in October is "I can't help but walk" written by Santoka Taneda.

Santoka Taneda is famous for writing a lot of haiku while traveling.

This word is included.

"I'm so lonely on the blue mountain road, whether it's divided or divided.

I can't help but find out what I'm walking behind the scenes I'm walking?"

Santoka Taneda is the person who wrote Haiku in the form of Buddhist monk, travelling while alms.

It seems that the figure is drawn on the cover of the booklet "On the edge of Hoonko" placed under the worship card.

The purpose of the worship card

About "I can't help but walk", the back of the card says the following:

"No matter what you do, it doesn't work, why does this happen?" Sometimes I feel like that. In such a case, why don't you sit in front of the Buddha and relax?

"I'm walking with you, so let's walk with peace of mind again."

Let's read the booklet "On the edge of Hoon-ko"

A good thing was written in booklet 6, so I will introduce it.

"At you get older, you'll have to break up. I also lost my grandparents a few years ago. My grandfather was a tough man and I was often angry.

"Greet me properly," "Eat cleanly," "Study."

When you die, you will not be able to use such words, but when you suddenly remember your grandfather's words and faces. "Grandpa was saying for such a case,"

"If you take this attitude, you might get angry,"

We don't seem to live alone with "living people." While cherishing the words and thoughts of the "dead person", they are trying to live so that the "dead person" is not ashamed of seeing it. We must never be alone.

Not only living people but also those who have died become Buddhas and watch over from the world of Satori. "Living" means that many "in the eyes" are utilized. ]
