TODA Building Art and Culture Area

TODA Building Art and Culture Area “KYOBASHI ART WALL” & “ART POWER KYOBASHI”

In the lower floors (1st to 6th floors) of the TODA Building, there is a complex facility that is responsible for creative exchange and information transmission functions of arts and culture on the theme of contemporary art, design, manufacturing, etc. It seems to create an arts and culture area where you can touch it. The synergistic effect with the adjacent Artizon Museum can be expected to become a major base for art.

ART POWER KYOBASHI

ART POWER KYOBASHI 「KYOBASHI ART WALL」&「ART POWER KYOBASHI」

Toda Construction's approach to the art business was publicized as follows.

The concept is "ART POWER KYOBASHI", which builds and supports a system in which up-and-coming creators active in the field of arts and culture, such as artists and curators, gather, create, present, receive evaluation, and grow independently through the practice of various programs. At the same time, the cultural assets living in Kyobashi will be renewed with artists and others to continue to grow and contribute to the development of a town that enhances the appeal of Kyobashi. In order to support artists and enhance the attractiveness of the city, we believe that an “ecosystem” based on the power of art is necessary, in which the cycle of creation, presentation, and sales is repeated, and each program of the art business will start full-scale operation from the completion of the TODA Building in 2024.

This symbol mark expresses the invisible human imagination and the power of art by overlapping the acronyms of organic A, P, and K. With the intention of creating new aspects (= cultural value, place, connection, creation) by constantly moving and overlapping organic shapes, art, people, and towns are woven together. It is said that it visualizes "cultural movement".

Kuniyoshi Utagawa's work and tricky picture: He reminded me, "Mikake is a scary and terrible person."
