Ishikawajima Park, where you can meet Kyojo Shigi only in the spring tide of May.

Kyojo Shigi is a traveling bird that spends winter south, spawns and raises children north in summer, and travels to Japan in spring and autumn on the way. Only one month from the end of April to the end of May can be seen from the Sumida River Terrace here at Ishikawajima Park.

The origin of the name of Kyojo Shigi is the color of a glossy kimono worn by a woman in Kyoto. The green color, brown and black color are clearly white.
