When I was walking along Koza-dori from Edobashi toward Ningyocho, I noticed the newly opened celebration flowers, and it was lunchtime, so when I ate lunch here, it was unexpectedly delicious, so a few days later I was in dinner time. The name of the shop is new (arata), authentic Sichuan cuisine restaurant. This place was a tavern and opened on January 8th.

The owner, Chef Nakazono, is from Fukuoka. After training at a long-established Chinese restaurant in Tokyo and Hakata, I opened my own shop in Nihonbashi with full satisfaction. Even though it is only a counter, it has a sense of luxury and has the atmosphere of a French restaurant. Although it is a Chinese dish, the air inside the store does not feel the smell of oil and does not turn it back to the scent of spices. The appearance of the appetizer is also stylish like a French hors d'oeuvres. And all the dishes are Japanese dishes. However, each dish had an accent of the traditional Chinese flavor, and a variety of flavors were enjoyed with original cooking methods.

One dish that seems to be the most Sichuan dish is so-called "prawn chili", but unlike the common shrimp chili, of course, it is not necessary to use ketchup, several kinds of round peppers are fried together, and homemade blended spices are attached to the plate, so it was a very complicated dish. Since it was a course dish, unique and delicious dishes were offered in addition to the introduction. At the beginning of the course, a warm and slightly sweet "Yuri root porridge" is served, which greatly stimulates appetite (called open stomach in Chinese). In addition, immediately after the spicy and rich shrimp chili, "Mini Tomato shaved ice" was issued as a remedy, and the "flow" in which the mouth was reset at once and then headed for the last meal was exquisite. I think it's a good place to try.
