The last opening of Tokyo Nagahama Kannon-do in FY2022
Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture is known as "Kannon no Sato", but it has opened Tokyo Nagahama Kannon-do with the aim of "recruiting supporters for the preservation and handing down of living and culture with Kannon statues". I introduced it on last year's blog. In fiscal 2022, 4 frames will be out one month at a time, and the last entry will be from February 1 to 28. I visited all times, so I received an "original case" for the Buddha statue card file. Just the right size to put a Buddha statue card and a commentary card. The eleven-faced Kannon of the cold water temple this time is a rare statue. According to the commentary, "It is enshrined beside the statue of Eleven-faced Kannon in main deity (the sheath Buddha) and is said to have been originally an open Buddha. main deity was burned down by Katsuie Shibata's army during the battle of Shizugatake, burned down the village, and built a sheath Buddha during the Genroku era and put the old main deity in the womb."
I can't easily go to Nagahama, so at least I joined the Kannon Club. The photo shows a glass key ring that is a member present. It is a really valuable opportunity to meet Kannon on the 4th floor of the Yaesu building on a single-person chartered state. Even though society is gradually heading toward mitigation, it was three years of depressed COVID-19. Would you like to ask for a healing space that can be relieved?
I would like to introduce the four Kannon skeletons that were given permission from Nagahama Kannon-do and served in 2022.
