The Mitsui Memorial Museum is now open for the first time in three years.

The spring tradition "Mitsui Family's Hina-sama" is being released for the first time in three years. It is always spectacular that the old ladies of the Mitsui family are lined up in each room. The highlight is the terraced decoration donated by Hisako Asano, which is 3 meters wide. And the miniature version of "Hina tools" of wedding furnishings. The crest of the Mitsui family is all included in the women's vehicle (palanquin) and mirror stand. The sophistication and elegant beauty sighs. Some of them were made by Eitokusai (1858-1926), the Hina doll of the Juken Store was famous even in the Meiji Taisho era. Hina dolls from the Edo period to the early Showa period are exhibited, so you can also see changes in the face and costume of the doll.

The Mitsui Memorial Museum is now open for the first time in three years.

Although not in Chuo-ku, Shizukado @ Marunouchi, where the exhibition gallery was moved to the neighboring Marunouchi last fall, is holding an exhibition "Welcome to Oinasama-Yataro Iwasaki's House". You can see the dolls of the Mitsui family and the Mitsubishi / Iwasaki family at the same time. The Meiji Seimeikan, which includes Shizukado @ Marunouchi, was designed by Shinichiro Okada and was first designated as a heavy sentence in Showa architecture completed in 1934. Shinichiro Okada is also known as the designer of the third Kabukiza Theater (completed in 1924). As you know, the Mitsui Main Building, where the Mitsui Memorial Museum is located, is also a heavy sentence, so why don't you go to a greedy exhibition where you can enjoy both chicks and heavy sentence buildings?
