Town fire extinguisher and undergarment
The other day, when I passed in front of the former Dentsu Building in Tsukiji, demolition work was planned and was surrounded by white walls.
When I was a kid, I could see the neon of the San-Ai Building in Ginza from my house at night. One day a big building is formed and visibility is blocked. That was the Dentsu Building. I am deeply moved by the fact that it will be destroyed soon.
There was a panel called "Memory of the town fire extinguisher I want to remember" and I was interested in it.
There were 48 town fire extinguishers formed during the Edo period. In contrast, the “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,”” and “Hundred,” “Hundred,” “Hundred,”” groups,” groups,” groups,” groups,” groups,” groups.
When I was taking pictures of how many groups in my area, people who wore fire department uniforms asked me, "Are you interested?" It seems to be from the Kyobashi fire department. He said that he wanted to make effective use of the fence at the construction site, and he wanted to check the reaction. I also took a picture of what I was looking at.
He said, "I'm on display to the opposite side," so I thought it would be by all means, and the exhibition was the panel of the wall on the right.
In the picture of Oya Okada, the leading figure in the town fire extinguisher Nishiki-e, the garments and undergarments of each group are drawn.
This is a nishiki-e of Sugumi.
This is a nishiki-e of the group and the group. The name of each garment and the name of the undergarment are written.
In addition, there was a panel of Nishiki-e of the 100-gumi and 100-gumi.
The whole area of Chuo-ku is covered by these 9 sets.
There were also posters on firefighting by students at Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School, Akimasa Elementary School, and Akashi Elementary School, display panels such as future firefighting image maps, and information on the Emergency Relief Center Project (# 7119).
If you are unsure whether you should go to the hospital right now due to a sudden illness or injury, call # 7119 to get advice from an expert.
I often see things related to cloaking and town fire extinguishing in Chuo-ku.
It's the Karakuri Ogura of Ningyocho. It moves every hour from 11 to 19 o'clock.
The Suitengu side is the Karakuri clock of Edo Rakugo, and the side near the Ningyocho intersection is the Karakuri clock of the town fire extinguisher.
Ningyocho's person in charge is the undergarment of "Gumi", and "Gumi" wears. If you move, the ladder ride will move.
When I took the picture, it was broken and there was a poster under repair.
This is a photo of a garment taken at the Kabuto-cho and Kayabacho Machikado Exhibition Hall. It's located in Sakamotocho Park.
This area is in charge of the "Hundred Groups". As expected, it also displays leather undergarments and sashiko undergarments received from the Bank of Japan, like a city of finance and securities. There are also small kites depicting forty-eight sets.
A photo of around 1877 is displayed, and it is a scene where the town fire extinguisher from the first group to the tenth group of the town fire extinguisher first ward gathered and 10 pieces were gathered together. It seems that the location is in front of the current Nihonbashi Fire Station next to Sakamoto Park.
This is a photo taken at the Kachidoki and Toyomi Historical Materials Exhibition Hall. It is Tsukishima Daini Children's Park.
This is the summary of the first ward 6th group.
The first group of Edomachi fire extinguisher will be in charge of the entire Chuo-ku and a part of Chiyoda-ku at the current Edo Fire Memorial Association.
The second group of Edomachi fire extinguisher "Sugumi" will be the first ward sixth group at the Edo Fire Memorial Party.
In the panel of the former Dentsu Building, the sign at the top of the head, called Dashi, is different from that of the Edo period "Sugumi" drawn by Oya Okada.
This is a photo of the "Edo Flower Souvenir Set" sold at the Chuo-ku Tourist Information Center.
Nihonbashi Muromachi is a town fire extinguisher set of "Igumi", Nihonbashi is a "rogumi", and Kyobashi is a "segumi".
The character of the town fire extinguisher that protected "Nihonbashi Odori" called giboshi.
The fire and the fight are written as the flower of Edo.
It is the fire-fighting Jizo-son in Shintomi. "In 1941, a fire broke out from a furniture factory in this area, fueled by strong winds, and the fire burned down seven buildings. Three lives are killed, including a boy who rescued a late female employee. On the site of the Kyobashi Fire Station Shintomicho branch office was opened. But the accident continued and terrible rumors spread, so guardian of children and travelers was built."
I had a fire in January of the first year of junior high school. I am waked by my grandfather after 2 o'clock in the middle of the night. When he said, "I'm still sleepy," he said, "I'm a fool! I'm going to die!" When I opened my eyes, orange was swaying all over the glass window. Take my great-grandmother and escape to a nearby acquaintance's house. It was not just because of the cold that shook at the fire from the drying place there. It is the fourth of four consecutive arsons in less than two hours. There was not enough fire trucks and half of the parcels burned down.
When I was a child, I saw a fire two or three times a year. Recently, I have witnessed "fire and black smoke" in Tsukishima, Shintomi and Morishita, Koto-ku. I'm an Edo kid, but is it a trauma that doesn't seem to be a flower of Edo?
I'll finish writing this blog with gratitude to the fire department.
