With Tsukiji Honganji Shinran Saint and Sakura March worship card exchange
This month, I went out with the feeling that I was floating to visit and get a worship card.
When I looked up at the statue with a greeting to Shinran saint, I saw cherry blossoms in a very beautiful color near me.
I felt so excited that I got a spring.
Please appreciate the cherry blossoms
I also observed flowers today. The petals are small and look like Okamezakura blooming on the street on the south side of Tokyo Square Garden in Kyobashi, and on the street in front of the shops of Kamimo and Benmatsu Sohonten in Nihonbashi Muromachi (Ajisai-dori St.). I thought Okamezakura was after March 10, but you can see the cherry blossoms there soon.
What is the best place to worship on the equinoctial week?
It's almost right away.
The equinoctial week is the day that combines the three days before and after the spring equinox and autumn equinox twice a year.
It is said that Japan's unique Buddhist event began with the idea of the Buddha's world "Pure Land of Bliss," which is said to be in the west direction of the sun, in the spring equinox, when the sun rises from the east and sinks to the west. Buddhist memorial service, who remembers and thanks Amida who always snuggles up to us and the deceased who became a Buddha prior to the Pure Land, is the Higankai.
March 2023 worship card
The card says, "What's missing when I was born in Hadaka."
In order to know the true meaning of teaching, I will read the back. The following is written.
We were born without having anything, but sometimes even if we get what we wanted, we sometimes hope for the next one.
In Buddhism, we preach that such a movement of mind occurs because each of us has an affliction.
By listening to the story of the Buddha, I can come to the hearts of Amida who says that I will not abandon this with anguish.
12 worship cards can be exchanged at the Information Center reception desk.
The place where you can exchange it has been changed. You can respond at the reception of the information center. This time, I received an original book called Tenugui and Manga Buddhist Introduction.
