Day of Rehearsal Musical Instruments

It's a signboard I saw in Higashinihombashi.

June 6 is Musical Instrument Day.
Upon examination, it seems that it was enacted in 1970 (Showa 45) by the National Musical Instruments Association.

Since ancient times, it has been said that "the practice of arts should be started on June 6, 6 years old," but it is derived from that story. It is also described as a good day in the ethical book "Kazebo Hanaden" written by Zeami, a Sarugaku master of the Muromachi period. In traditional performing arts, it is called "first practice", and you should start training on that day. It has become a general rule over time, and it has become a day of Japanese music, a day of practice, and a day of ikebana.

Why don't you get a chance to interact with musical instruments and start learning something?
