June 6 is Musical Instrument Day.

It is also described as a good day in the ethical book "Kazebo Hanaden" written by Zeami, a Sarugaku master of the Muromachi period. In traditional performing arts, it is called "first practice", and you should start training on that day. It has become a general rule over time, and it has become a day of Japanese music, a day of practice, and a day of ikebana.
