"ATELIER MUJI GINZA" on the 6th floor of "Muji Ginza", which was introduced in an article last December.
Currently, two exhibitions are being held until April 23, 2023 (Sunday), "Small MUJI" exhibition-How to enjoy daily necessities-" and "Love Japanese sweets" exhibition. The last article triggered me to guide me, so I went to see it!

Let's know the story of Japanese sweets! "Love Japanese Sweets" Exhibition

The "Love Japanese Sweets" exhibition focuses on "ordinary sweets" that have been loved in Japan for a long time with the cooperation of chef Tomoko Nagao.

It consists of photos, videos, and words about the story of sweets and the creator's thoughts. Passing through the goodwill of the exhibition space, photos and explanations of various types of sweets throughout Japan (materials, how they are made, history, year of birth)…There are many sheets containing such as.

You can take this seat one by one. If you have any sweets you like, bring your sheet home and go to the shop this time! You can also use it like that.
Some of them are doll-yaki by Itakuraya, Kintsuba by Eitaro Sohonho, and Yoshiya-san's dorayaki, etc.…Many sweets from famous stores in Chuo-ku are also available.

On Saturdays and Sundays, sweets that appear in the exhibition are sold on the first floor of Muji Ginza every week, and sweets that appear in the exhibition at "Salon" attached to ATELIER MUJI GINZA can be eaten weekly. If you look at the photos and explanations, you will still want to eat!

The appearance of daily necessities that you usually use changes! "Small MUJI" Exhibition

The "small MUJI" exhibition, which is being held in another exhibition space, displays works and photographs of miniature models made by miniature photographer and pretend writer Tatsuya Tanaka using Muji's products.

If you look at a number of works, you will be impressed by that idea. As shown in this photo, staples' needles look like desks and chairs, power taps lined up with outlets look like urban buildings, and word sense with the title "From Shampoo to Jampoo" were also irresistible for dajare lovers. (Please take a look at what kind of work you have!)

While watching the exhibition, I remembered that when I was a child, I played with the shelves in the house as a building.
These are works that soften the viewer's head.

Reproduce the city of Ginza

This "small MUJI" exhibition is also expanding into the store space of Muji!
On the 4th floor, a space is set up by dividing a considerable area, and the city of Ginza is reproduced using various products from Muji.

It seems that the front side is Harumi-dori St., and several landmarks such as Wako at 4-chome and Kabukiza Tower are reproduced. Various ideas can be seen everywhere, such as opening notes on the black cover to make a tiled roof of the Kabukiza Theater, and I am not tired of watching it.

Muji's storage supplies often have size standards even if they are different, so it may be suitable for recreating the city of Ginza where lines of the same height such as "56m" and "31m" can be seen everywhere! ? I thought it.

The exhibition period is open until April 23, so please take a look when you come to Ginza!
