Hundred Pile and Ahigamo One dish "Toriyasu"

Do you know "Hundred Pinks"?
From Edo to Showa, many piles were driven into the water in the Sumida River to soften the flow of the river and protect the riverbanks and banks. "Hyakubon Pile" is also depicted in ukiyo-e and landscape paintings, and appears in many works in Kabuki. It seems to have been a representative landscape of the Sumida River.

The "Hundred Pile" is no longer seen, but the "Hundred Pile" is placed at the entrance of "Ahigamo Ichijin Toriyasu" in Higashinihombashi.
Without an explanation, it is an old decayed wooden stake that is likely to be overlooked, but this is the only place where you can see the real "Hundred Pigs" of the Sumida River.

By the way, "Toriyasu" is a long-established duck dish that was founded in 1872. The husbands of Nihonbashi have always wanted to try duck dishes, which have a reputation for being delicious with their mouths, but this time I finally got the opportunity to eat them.

The food is only Aogamo Sukiyaki course. According to Toriyasu, it is not called "Ahigamo" or "Aigamo", but it is said that it is a duck of a matching duck of duck and duck (naturalized species's family duck) created by human hand.
The appetizers, soups, and single dishes were all delicious, but Aigamo's sukiyaki was exceptional. The meat of the duck eaten with grated radish is soft and has a strong meat taste, and the sweetness of the meat spreads all over the tongue. At the end, we had a duck-fried rice that was reputed to be delicious, but this was also exquisite.
I enjoyed the taste of a long-established store according to the reputation.

It's not cheap, but the satisfaction was more than the price. I recommend it.
