Fukutoku Shrine spreads over the forest of Fukutoku
An extraordinary space, Suigian Suigian
When you descend the stairs leading to Nihonbashi and Fukutoku Shrine, next to the underground, you will find the extraordinary space "Mizu-Gian". A modern salon created in the image of a luxury restaurant in the late Edo period, a "Hyakukawa" where many cultural people gathered. You can enjoy Nihon Buyo, Noh and Kagura while enjoying meals and alcohol.
I was stepping on the luxury, but I heard from a shop who happened to go out that "use of only bars is also welcome."
First of all, what attracted me was the Noh theater and the Noh mask collection. If I thought I had seen it somewhere, I relocated the one from Art Aquarium Nihonbashi, which was nearby until last year.
The stage of this day is "Nihon Buyo by Hyakukawa Geinogon". There are performances such as a monthly project that claims to be Do you Noh, so please check the website of Mizugian.
The design of Mizu-Gian was designed by Hidechi Kimura, the same as Aquariam. Designs incorporating traditional Japanese culture shine everywhere. The carpet laid in the lounge is Nabeshima drapery, which was handed down to the Saga Domain in the early Edo period and protected by feudal lord Nabeshima for generations. I didn't know that it was such a craft, so I tried to go up with my shoes on.
I was fascinated by the lighting pendant. The shade woven with a thin bamboo stick emerges, and it feels nice.
I was able to enjoy the stage with just two cups of sake, and my shoulders were a little narrow, but when I looked around, some people only cooked alone. In addition to my thoughts, Mizugi-an has a low threshold. This time, I will see the stage of Noh.
