Looking up at the city from the water
In 2011, the Nihonbashi Pier was completed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the completion of Nihonbashi. Since then, a large number of sightseeing boats starting here have been operated, and it has been bustling even during the daytime on weekdays.
In fact, my company, two years before the completion of the dock, started in 2009 as a member of the "Edo Tokyo Rediscover Consortium", starting from the "Tokiwa Bridge Disaster Prevention Pier" slightly upstream. We have begun operating sightseeing boats. This is because we hope that the scenery that was crowded with boat transport during the Edo period can be revived in the present day. Now that it's bustling, it's impressive.
Well, I myself have served as a guide for this boat many times. We experienced a variety of situations, including general customers, new employees, and charter customers. The difference from a guide on a cruise ship from another company is that the content to guide is "I'm biased toward me" (laughs).
Starting from Nihonbashi Pier, going up the Nihonbashi River, going down the Kanda River, going back to Nihonbashi again from Toyomi Bridge, going back to Nihonbashi for a 90-minute cruise, about half of the total passes through Chuo-ku.
There are a lot of things to do. For example, the following points.

・Relationship between lodgings and flood control

・Combined sewer
・Clear stream revival business
・Tate River, Yokojikken River, Oyoko River ("Tate" and "Yoko")
