Jazz & Soul Bar - The Deep in Ginza
Ginza 6-chome Kojunsha Street
Get intoxicated with Jazz on the 4th floor of Sukiya Building
I went to "Jazz & Soul Bar - The Deep", which was OPEN in Ginza in December 2015. Ayako Hirara, an owner born in Hokkaido and raised in Okinawa, is also a Jazz vocalist himself. Maki Okuhira, a staff member, is also a Jazz vocalist and a sightseeing ambassador to Yamanashi City. "We are doing a lot of PR through SNS so that we can contribute to the revitalization of the local Yamanashi city as much as possible."
"The Deep" is located on the 4th floor of "Sukiya Building", which is close to Ginza Corridor and faces Kojunsha Street. Sukiya Building is a slightly old and typical 10-story multi-story building located in Ginza. There are restaurants on the lower floors, and galleries and offices on the middle to 10th floors. To be honest, it took a little courage to enter this building, but "Take-chan" is a big fan of the performer "Remi-san" on April 12, so please contact the owner, Mr. Hirara in advance and get the photo OK I went to Sukiya Building.
Mr. Remi on Vocal
Remi's mission is "to make the listener happy on the way home." After performing vocal activities such as rock pop house funk from the age of 15, he retired from a foreign company that worked for 12 and a half years in 2015, started live performances based on jazz in March 2016, and started live performances based on American pop, funk, musicals and J-POP. We perform live regularly. Taking advantage of my childhood experience in the United States and U.K., before each song starts playing, it will explain what kind of songs they will sing in Japanese in an easy-to-understand manner, so not only sound but also lyrics You can enjoy.
"Take-chan" first met Remi at the end of last year by Kana Fuefuki, who performed a cool performance at Kyobashi Edgran on February 26. Remi, who has won awards in numerous contests, was not only good at singing, but also the chat between songs was very fun and positive, and quickly became involved.
Mr. Yuki Muto on Piano
Yuki Muto is a young Jazz pianist who is active in a live house in Tokyo. He started playing the piano at the age of five, and played oboe in the brass band in junior and senior high school. When I was in college, I played the piano in a big band and entered the world of jazz. I thought there were many people who came to Jazz after experiencing other genres such as Rock and Funk, but Muto said, "I've been playing only classical and Jazz." Other genres may come from now on..."He told me during the time between the performances. I think it's one of the charms of a small Jazz Bar to be able to talk directly with professional musicians.
By the way, Remi's [CD] 1st album "Ripple (Liple) "It means that it was produced with Mr. Muto during the week when the Tokyo Olympics were held without spectators.
At the end, mama
After the 1st and 2nd stages, Ayako Hirara, a mom of the shop, performed a song at the request of a regular customer. Mom said, "I stopped singing after the pandemic," but she sang Jazz's standard song "Time After Time" powerfully. I hope you will return to active duty!
