"Fuji" is a deciduous shrub of the legume family. It is characterized by a large number of fragrant butterfly-shaped flowers on long branches, and Hanabusa hangs down. From spring to summer, it blooms across two seasons, so it has the nickname "Futakigusa" and is described as "Fujinami" in the waves as it flutters in the wind and shakes in the wavesManyoshu.
