 2023 Dango Festival

May 5th is one of the five verses, "Dango no Sekku." Dango means the day of the early afternoon (5) of the moon. In China, May is the moon with particularly disaster, and there is a custom of purifying the body as an obsolete, which is reported to Japan and is said to dispel evil with a strong fragrance, a hair ornament (iris wig, iris sanguinea Kazura) or an iris or a iris sanguinea wig or a plaque.·An annual event to pay the plague was held, such as knitting with a song and decorating "Yakutama Kusdama" with five-color threads hanging down. After the birth of the samurai government, the irise leaves are sword-shaped and the irises are connected to Naotake, so they gradually transformed into a celebration of a samurai boy, and after the war, as `` Children's Day '' wishing for healthy growth of children It was enacted on a holiday. It is said that during the Edo period, the idea of "carp", a symbol of success, was born among the common people, following the samurai whose armours were decorated with inner room and the flag at the doorway. The appearance of a carp streamer flutters in the blue sky is a landscape similar to the May event. Tsukiji·At Namiki Shrine, samurai picture banners and carp streamers are posted on the precincts, and the torii is decorated with five-color curtains. From May 1st to 5th, the Dango Festival ritual will be held, and a limited vermilion seal stamp will be presented for a limited time only with children's Katsumori and a handmade carp streamer set.
