"To do Ieyasu" special exhibition is being held at Mitsui Memorial Museum

I think many people are watching NHK Taiga drama series "Doing Ieyasu".
I went to see NHK Taiga drama series special exhibition "Todo Ieyasu" being held at the Mitsui Memorial Museum in Nihonbashi Muromachi.

There are a lot of things to see.
The golden armor and drama that Ieyasu wore during the war are particularly noticeable, but this armor "Kinda Migusoku" is on display.

It is said that Ieyasu wore an armor when he was young, and was worn in the battle of Okehazama. The helmet was shaped like a helmet, painted with gold powder from the lacquer, and glowed golden so that it could not be considered an armor more than 400 years ago.

In addition, there are many portraits of famous people who have a connection with Ieyasu, including Ieyasu, Nobunaga, and Hideyoshi, as well as folding screen drawings.
It is very detailed, such as the Dai Nippon Five Dochu Screen and the Sekigahara Battle Screen, and forgets time and looks at it.
The giboshi (Giboshi; made in 1658) attached to the balustrade of Nihonbashi was also on display.
Many national treasure swords and valuable treasures designated as important cultural properties are also exhibited and enriched. I enjoyed it very much.
It will be held until June 11 (Sun).
