According to the shrine biography, Kanda Myojin was founded in 730 (730) and is a shrine with a history of about 1,300 years.
In the precincts of Kanda Myojin, there are three shrines called Santenno (pictured in Kobunamachi Yakumo Shrine). One of the three Tennos is "Edo Shrine" and the oldest landowner god in Edo.
