I went to Tsukiji Honganji to visit.
In front of the main gate, there was a notice saying "Muneso Birthday May 28".
Yes, the birthday of Shinran Saint Soso is May 28th, so the believers are praying and celebrating with everyone.
May 2023 worship card
I visited this month again and received a worship card.
The worship card says, "Is it something that storms will not blow every night of the cherry blossoms that I think tomorrow?"
The following explanation is written on the back of the worship card.
"In the spring of 1181, the 9-year-old Shinran Saint was made a great deal. It's already late at night, so I'm determined to do a gain ceremony now because I don't know when and what will happen, as if a storm blows overnight and the cherry blossoms fall, so I decided to do a gain ceremony now It is a poem written when it was done.
The cherry blossoms are scattered all the time, and it's almost summer! I want to take care of each day."
