Impression of Tsukiji Market
Tsukiji Market moved to Toyosu on October 6, 2018, and it has been the fifth year since demolition work has progressed.
It will be the roof of the parking lot building and the quay, and it will soon disappear and its features will be lost.
This is in the middle of this month (May 2023).
The photo on the left is Tsukiji Ohashi in September 2018, just before the relocation, and the photo on the right is the Tsukiji Market and the venue on October 8, two days after the relocation.
I think I'm still busy moving.
around July, 2020
The remaining ones are the parking lot building, maybe Tsukiji Market Welfare Hall in front of it, and the roof of the quay.
The Olympic Games were scheduled for this year, but it has been postponed for one year, but as a depot the following year.
It was used as a base for passenger cars and buses for transportation.
Looking at the Sumida River and downstream, it is Tsukiji Ohashi Sumida River Daiichi Bridge.
In line with the opening of the Toyosu Market in 2018, the service was started.
A tour will be held just before the start of operation.
Despite the rainy weather, many people participated and began to cross.
I can't walk here now, of course.
We returned to the demolition and removal work, and at the end of last year (end of 2022), the Tsukiji Market Welfare Hall was removed and parking lots were built.
Demolition has begun, leading to the photo at the beginning.
These are the last structures.
