Gunsu Children's Park in Minato 1-chome.

There's a big fountain here.

Suddenly, that?

Some big bird caught my eye and stopped my feet.

Oh! Indian spot-billed duck is there!

I'm taking a bath on the steps of the fountain.

This fountain has always been a bathing place for sparrows.

I often see the sights of flying around without hesitation and flying water drops.

On this day, there was a sparrow behind Indian spot-billed duck.

This is my first time in Indian spot-billed duck.

I'm glad that Indian spot-billed duck came to Minato!

Normally, I often see it at Tsukuda moat, and I was also on the Kamejima River.

In large rivers like the Sumida River, I don't see much places going down on the surface of the water, and it's rare to fly over the sky.

Indian spot-billed duck likes the small, laid-back and calm waterside.

"There was such a good bathing place in such a place!"

"I didn't know, let's come again."

Indian spot-billed duck and others seem to be talking.

There!

The crow flew with my face.

Indian spot-billed duck lowers himself and guards.

The sparrow, who had been relaxing, ran away.

Indian spot-billed duck, is it okay?…I think it's a good idea.

Did the crow refrain from the rare customers?

He flew away at once.

A pigeon walked.

The park is in front of the park.

There is also a bus stop for Edo bus.

Next to Tepposhu Inari Shrine is enshrined.

Teppuzu…It's a place name that I can't hear.

This area is a landfill in the early Edo period, and has been called "gungunsu".

It is also said that the topography from the east side of Gunsu Street, one from the Sumida River, north to the vicinity of the mouth of the Kamejima River to the south to Akashicho and Tsukiji was similar to the gun (matchlock musket), or because the shogunate's gunpowder was a trial shot.

This area near the mouth of the Sumida River is a waterside town that was called "Edo Minato" in the Edo period and flourished as a gateway to the sea.

Goods from countries such as rice, oil, miso, soy sauce, charcoal, etc. were all headed here on the Bensai ship.

At that time, the sailors said that the location was determined by using the large roof of Tsukiji Honganji as a landmark.

At that time, Tepposu Inari Shrine was called "Minato Inari" and was located in a position overlooking the sea. It is just near the mouth of the current Kamejima River.

The main pillar of Inari Bridge, which still remains quietly in the corner of the sidewalk, is a remnant.

As a god who protects the safety of the sea, we have gathered a deep religion from sailors all over the country.

The gunpowder children's park is full of greenery in early summer.

A tree-lined road of Shirakashi tree, Shidare cherry tree, Kinmokusei, and Ginkgo.

The hydrangea is beautiful now.

I wonder if it's still there…I thought so and went back to the fountain,

Yeah…Indian spot-billed duck was gone now

Come again…。

Looking up at the sky, the summer felt like it was coming soon.
