MIKIMOTO、Love letter to the Sea

Looking at Ginza Street from the Mitsukoshi side, I saw a display like a mermaid emerges from the sea. It's very bright blue.

When you look at Mikimoto's website, the following is written.

"This year marks the 130th anniversary since our founder Mikimoto Kokichi succeeded in cultivating pearls and began to walk as a jeweler. Its long history always has an appreciation for the sea and a deep respect for nature. To protect the sea, which nurtures beautiful pearls, and to coexist with nature. We spell our origins and thoughts on the sea in loveletter."

Ginza Cultural Monument Pearl King

We confirmed "article about Ginza culture monument" which we posted on correspondent blog of 2017.

The "Pearl King Monument" in that article describes the following.

"Mikimoto Kokichi Okina is the founder of a 95-year-old cultured pearl this year, and the name of Pearl King extends all over the world.

The next time I buy pearls is when my grandchild grows up, or is it my celebration of joy?
