TORIKO captivates yakitori lovers
I visited the yakitori shop TORIKO, which opened directly opposite Tokiwa Inari at Nihonbashi Honmachi 1-chome (it will be Kofune-cho). There are ducks and ducks on the signboard, so I didn't know what it was, and for a while I was just looking at it in a distance, but I never tried to enter the store.
The inside of the store is elongated and the counter seats are the main, but there is a table seat in the back where 6 people can sit. From the counter, you can look into the grill, and the store manager bakes it on a charcoal fire with skillful skill. It is a relatively new store that opened in August 2021, but in fact it has been operating in Asakusa for 11 years. It seems that Asakusa was crowded and there were many inbound foreign tourists visiting the store, but Nihonbashi has many customers who calm down and enjoy food slowly, and it is rewarding.
Courses (3 types) are recommended for the menu. Of course, there are single items, and in addition to the standard, there is also Today's special. For example, the white lever of chickens to see if there are several times a winter. There is also a mallard course offered if you get it by hunting (which seems to be rare). It seems that menu information will be released on Instagram, so please follow us. Of course, even in the standard menu, juicy yakitori and grilled duck go well with sake and shochu that are particular about. I personally like it is sweet and sour to put "Karin stick" in the carbonic acid of shochu. Thank you very much!
