Day campsites (barbecue sites) in Hamacho Park can be used free of charge for residents and workers in the city!
A full-fledged summer has begun. Summer is a season of fireworks, festivals, and outdoor activities.
Did you know that there are three day campsites (barbecue sites) in Chuo-ku that can be used free of charge for residents and workers in the city? Tsukiji River Park, Hamacho Park, Toyomi Sports Park. One of them, I used a barbecue area in Hamacho Park. It was very easy to use, so I would like to introduce it.
Day campsites are available from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, there is no time limit, but the end time is strictly adhered! Up to 6 people can be used in one furnace, and up to 3 sets per group can be reserved. The reservation start date is, in principle, one month before the desired date of use, and on days with many applicants, lottery will be drawn. Details of the reservation start date and lottery time can be found on the homepage of Chuo-ku, so please check it.
Day campsite is located at the innermost part of Hamacho Park, facing the Sumida River Terrace.
Nets, iron plates, and parasols are available for rent. Chairs and tables are installed, so barbecue starts with bringing in ingredients and fuel, cooking utensils, drinks, tableware, etc.!
It was easy to use and good that the washing area was right next to it. There is one dedicated washroom per group.
Sardines for washing the net, brooms for cleaning, and crests are located at the day campsite and can be used freely.
While waiting for it to burn, the children were running around the park. There is a parking lot (charged) in the basement of the park. The subway "Hamacho Station" is also easily accessible in front of you!
A comfortable facility where you can enjoy the outdoors in the city. We recommend a weekday where you can enjoy it slowly.
