A garden of seven herbs next to autumn
The bellflower, which is familiar as one of the seven herbs in autumn, is blooming dignifiedly.
Sakamotocho Park, where bellflowers bloom, is the first small urban park in Japan to be built in 1889. The design was designed by Anhei Nagaoka, a well-known park designer. Initially, it was a Japanese-style garden with an arbor and seasonal plants planted, and it seems that seven herbs were planted along the garden road.
Even in the Reiwa era, the "Nanakusa Garden" was maintained and has been handed down as a place for people to relax.
Why don't you enjoy the autumn flowers? There is also a "Kabuto-cho / Kayabacho Machikado Exhibition Hall" to let you know the history and tradition of Chuo-ku. Please drop in.
