Nihonbashi Cruise "3rd Photo Contest"
Nihonbashi Cruises is looking for photos for the 3rd Photo Contest.
The Nihonbashi Cruise is a shared cruise that can be boarded from the Nihonbashi Pier in the Taki no Hiroba at the foot of Nihonbashi. The Nihonbashi Pier was completed in 2011, when Nihonbashi (20th generation) celebrated its 100th anniversary, and the Nihonbashi Cruise has been operating since that year. In addition, a knowledgeable river guide will ship and guide you while explaining the history and latest information from the Edo period.
There are six main courses, including courses that go around the Kanda River, Sumida River, and Tokyo Bay around the Nihonbashi River. All of them arrive and depart at Nihonbashi Pier. Even on the same course, the scenery changes depending on the season, weather, and boarding time, so you can enjoy it whenever you ride. The boat has no roof, but it is equipped with a flush toilet. Since there is no roof, there is a sense of openness, so you can feel the water surface and bridge up close. The other day, I boarded, but the wind was refreshing even though the sun was strong.
The expressway over Nihonbashi is scheduled to be removed (filled underground) in the 2040s.
The progress of the construction of the Nihonbashi River was understood from the ship, and it was already removed and there were places where the sky could be seen.
It is interesting to see the redevelopment of the Nihonbashi area from another angle.
At the best shot location, it will stop the ship and set a shooting time.
After all, it is a place where you can collaborate with Chuo-ohashi Bridge and Kiyosu Bridge and Tokyo Sky Tree.
If you have time, we recommend a sunset cruise. The photo is a photo taken when I boarded before.
On that day, I boarded two courses, a lunch course and a sunset course. I still remember being able to compare the scenery of the Sumida River during the day and sunset, and impressed by the beauty of the sunset.
"Recently, the use of tourists from overseas is increasing," said the receptionist. There were about four pairs of foreign families on my ship.
Why don't you take a picture of the scenery seen from the boat with a slightly different Tokyo sightseeing and apply for "Scenery discovered by Cruise"?
