Bus terminal Yaesu, Tokyo
From the basement of "Tokyo Midtown Yaesu", which opened at the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station, express buses to Kanto and Chugoku-Shikoku are arriving and departing, making it very convenient.
Even if you think that traveling to nearby prefectures and Shikoku regions by express bus is far away, you can enjoy a little trip feeling. I heard that an acquaintance lived in Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture, and that I would come to Yaesu via Umihotaru in Tokyo Bay by a little bus, so I was longing for a bus trip. This time, we will introduce bus flights to and from the nearest Shimbashi, Shinjuku, and Shibuya.
I've been using "Bus Terminal Tokyo Yaesu".
Departing from Yaesu bound for Shimbashi Station, Shinjuku Station, Shibuya Station
7/24 I took the bus bound for Shimbashi Station, Shinjuku Station, and Shibuya Station departing at 15:40.
The guests I shared were French couple and daughter's family and Japanese men and women of all ages.
If you're going from Tokyo Station to Shibuya, considering the complicated transfer on the way, you can also go sightseeing in Tokyo, and bus flights may be better. (Depending on the time of day...)
The number of flights is 11:40, 15:40, and 18:30. (As of July 31, 2023) The time required to get to Shibuya Station is about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
The bus rides are the environmentally friendly fuel cell bus FUEL CELL BUS operated by Keio Bus.
Since this bus is a "route bus", the bus fee is settled in SUICA or cash on the car. If you are over 70 and have a Tokyo Silver Pass, you can use it free of charge.
Famous places for comfortable bus travel routes
Bus Terminal Tokyo Yaesu departed from Chuo-dori, pass in front of Kyobashi Edgran Chuo-ku Tourist Information Center, turn left on Kajibashi Street, immediately turn right on Showa-dori, see the Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier at Ginza 8-chome, go to Akasaka-Nichome Hibiya at Akasaka-Nichome Station, go to Akasaka-Nichome Higashi-Nichome Station, and go to Akasaka-Hibiya. Go up Kinokuni-zaka, look at the east gate of Akasaka Palace on the left, and look at the "Yurinoki Street Tree" gentle to the eyes in front of the main gate of the guest house, in front of Yotsuya Station.
On this day, get off at Shinjuku Gyoen. (Shinjuku Gyoen is closed on Monday.)
I got off at Shinjuku-dori St., where I saw Taisoji Temple on my right. It took about 40 minutes.
The nearby Shinjuku 3-chome station runs on the Toei Shinjuku Line, Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, and Fukutoshin Line, making it convenient to transfer.
