The name of Ginza is also in the Northern Japanese Alps!
Speaking of Japan's leading shopping street, it is still [Ginza]. Every year, it is a super prime location that is reported as the highest place in Japan. It can be said that it is an area where the commerce tradition and history cultivated by Chuo-ku are condensed.
As you know, "Ginza" originally comes from "Ginza Office", which mainly casts silver coins during the Edo period. Therefore, there was a facility called "Ginza" besides Chuo-ku in Tokyo, but now [Ginza] is recognized throughout the country as a place name.
The name has been diverted nationwide as synonymous with commercial and downtown areas, and it seems that there are more than 300 names. Since it is located in Taiwan and Hong Kong, its brand power is terrifying.
My hobby is mountain climbing, but the other day I walked around Ginza in the Northern Japanese Alps. Some of the ridgeline surrounding the famous "Mt. Yarigatake" and "Mt. Hotaka Mountain Range" are named. This time, I walked on the most popular course [Omote Ginza]. It is a high ridge road that goes around the mountains called [Tsubakurodake] [Mt. Daitenjo] [Mt. Jonen] [Butterflygatake]. It was very beautiful and I was able to meet rock ptarmigan.
I feel nodding that the mountain trail, which can be said to be the "main street" of the Northern Japanese Alps, was named [Omote Ginza]. I walked while thinking that [Mt. Yarigatake] with a sharp peak that looked like a magical look might be the role of the "Ginza Clock Tower".
