Sumida River Fireworks Festival seen from Chuo-ohashi Bridge

The Sumida River Fireworks Festival, a summer tradition in Tokyo, is a little far away from the fireworks launch site, but you can also enjoy it from Chuo-ohashi Bridge.

I think that the houseboat that goes around the Sumida River and the fireworks that can be seen with the blue Eitai Bridge and Skytree are unique to the city center.

The Sumida River Fireworks Festival originated in 1733 at the Water God Festival held by Yatsushiro Shogun Yoshimune Tokugawa, and is said to be fireworks launched by Yahee, the sixth generation of pyrotechnician.

The initial fireworks were launched near Ryogoku Bridge, and the number of balls was around 20, which seemed to be smaller than today, but the impact on the people of Edo was large, and it became an annual river opening.

At present, the launch location has changed, and the fireworks of the Sumida River have moved a little far from Chuo-ku, but in the Edo period when there were no high-rise buildings yet, how do people see the fireworks rising in the night sky with the explosion sound? I think it's fun to see while imagining what I was looking up.
