“Tsukiji Honganji Noryo Bon Dance Festival” held for the first time in 4 years in 2023
For four days from August 2 to 5, Tsukiji Honganji is holding the 76th annual “Tsukiji Honganji Noriyo Bon Dance Festival” this year. From 19:00 to 21:00 (18:00 to 20:30 on the last day only), the Tsukiji Ondo, Home Run, and the Tokyo Dance Festival will be held around the tower decorated with Japanese lantern with the names of many sponsors in the surrounding area. Between the dances, live performances of the stylish and brave "Oedo Sukeroku Taiko" reminiscent of the atmosphere of the Edo festival will be performed. At the venue, food and beverage booths such as famous stores in Tsukiji Outer Market such as "Torito", "Matsuro", "Kitsuneya", "Kibun", and "Suga Shoten" will be opened, actively utilizing "reuse tableware" We are working to reduce and reduce waste, and promoting "Japan's most delicious and eco-friendly Bon Odori".
