Kamono Mabuchi, a mid-Edo scholar and poet, was born in 1697 in Hamamatsusho Iba Village, Tomikuni. He studied with Azumamaro Kadano, immersed himself in the resurrection of ancient lyrics, and wrote research works on Manyoshu and Kokin Wakashu. In 1769 (1769), he died at the age of 73.
It is 250 years after the death of Kamono Mabuchi, with the new era "Reiwa" in Manyoshu.
There is an explanation board near the Hisamatsucho intersection, "The trace of Kamono Mabuchi Prefectural Residence (Agata I)" (photo). "Prefectural residence" is an hermitage built by Mabuchi after retirement, and is said to have been named for its old appearance. [Figure 1] Around 1771 (1771), I rented about 100 tsubo of Hagimoto ‣ Hosoda's residence. It has the name of Minnojo Hosoda (maru seal). The west side is Jinzaemon Fukuo.

At that time, No. 7 was Taisuke Itagaki's residence, which is said to be about 1,000 tsubo. The school in the northeast of Takasago Bridge is Hisamatsu Elementary School. After that, there was a land readjustment, and the current location of the historic site of the prefectural residence cannot be identified, but it seems to be around the opposite side (northeast) across Kiyosubashi Street from the location of the current explanation board.
A moon-viewing in the prefecture, written by Shinatsu Sasaki
In "September 13 Night of the Prefectural Residence" (published in Chuo Koron in 1916), written by Shinatsu Sasaki (1872-1963), a national literary and poet and recipient of the Order of Culture, Shinatsu Sasaki (1872-1963), the state of the prefectural residence and the moon viewing party Scene is depicted.

The people who lined up at the feast--the 26-year-old Harusato Murata was the child of Harumichi who was first taken care of when Mabuchi came to Edo. His younger brother, Harumi, is not yet twenty years old. Chikage was 39 years old as a child of his old friend Enao Kato. Uohiko Ino and Miki Kawazu are 42 and 44. Gennai Hiraga, a 42-year-old who came first and returned earlier. Ayatari Takebe, 43 years old, is a talented child. Shunmei Yamaoka, 53 years old, has a deep learning experience.
