This is Togo-jinja Shrine in Shibuya-ku. A large and quiet forest right next to Harajuku, a lot of wind chimes are displayed around Kamiike to play cool. Next to it is a copper torii gate with the word "Suikosha". This torii is the second generation torii of Mizuko Shrine, which was originally located on the Tsukiji Naval Site.
Mizuko Shrine was built in 1911 to pray for the victory of the Navy during the Sino-Japanese War, serving amulet Amulets sent from all over the country, and enshrining the spirits of employees who died after the war. It's written on the explanation board. It is said that Mizuko Shrine and its torii survived the disaster of the Great Kanto Earthquake, and that the shrine was burned down in the Tokyo air raid in March 1945, and only this torii gate escaped damage.
This torii gate, which was located in Chuo-ku for a period of time and survived the turbulent era, is now quietly listening to the sound of wind chimes.
