A quiet shrine in Shinkawa Daiei Inari-jinja Shrine
Shinkawa, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Daiei Inari Shrine is located in a corner of Ophes Street surrounded by the Nihonbashi River and Kamejima River, in the back alleyway.
It is a neat shrine nestled in a quiet environment, with the noise of cars at Eitai-dori St., where there is a lot of traffic.
"Shinkawa 1-chome Kitamachi Association Office" is located next to it.
This is also made of stone and has an atmosphere.
According to "Tokyo Shrine Name Book",
It seems that it will occur from the time of landfilling the Kamejima River Reigan Island in 1767."
According to the "Gofunai History Book", the area around "A" surrounded by a red frame was reclaimed in 1727 and the area around "B" was reclaimed in 1765.
Probably, the shrine name book "Kamejima River Reigishima Island" is around "A" and "B".
(There is a slight gap in the year, but is it a time lag for landfill and shrine construction?)
In addition, "Tokyo Shrine Name Book"
"At the time of the transfer, it occupied a corner of the Reigishi Bridge, and there were various portable shrines and kakechaya in the vicinity, and the shrine was very busy with the issuance of wealth lottery."
The "Ofunai History Book" also states that the "Ezochi Kaisho" was established later.
You can also see the description of the shrine on the map of the early Meiji era.
Currently, it is a short walk from Kayabacho Station.
